The Magnum deal is direct bill so I can't imagine they wouldn't give you the corporate rate. Why don't you stay in your truck and shower at the J or the Staymart ($5) and treat yourself to a nice meal. I mean we can bobtail anywhere in Fargo...

I will have just over 13k miles this month. That makes 2 months in a row. When get back to Fargo on Thursday I am planned on another load to NC.
Is there a big mileage difference going 39 to 74 to indy instead of thru chicago.

The Red Roof will give you the Magnum rate and you pay in cash or credit card. I have done it.

Btw, I'm not currently at the Fargo yard. There were 3 ltd and 2 or 3 ltl truck and trailers parked by the shop. I was worried adding mine I'd be in the way of getting to the fuel island. No spaces available on the loaded trailer line. Parked in the empty ready lot and the long doubles and yard jockey were coming in and out moving trailers, I felt in the way there. Instead of bothering with dropping the trailer there and bobtailing by the shop, I said screw it and came across the highway to the Stamart.

Hopefully it will be cleared out some over there in the am.

It's about 30 miles or so more than 65/80/294/90 and way less stressful. I always go that way...

That's about $350 more in your check than if you had stayed in Fargo

I called Red Roof Inn and they won't sell me a room at the Magnum rate for tomorrow night unless somebody from Magnum calls and and reserves it. Apparently even though I'm paying for it, I don't count as someone from Magnum.

So I sent an email to Ashley since she's working in the am.

If I can't get the Magnum rate, I will. But in my opinion, a comfy bed, cable tv, and a toilet I don't need to put shoes on to use, that's treating myself. I'll hold out for some good meals when I get home next week.
