Question: If you get no response to a detention request, does that mean denied?

Its happened to me twice now. Both in Texas. The first in Laredo which after some miscommunication I figured maybe I dropped the ball some myself. The second was in Dallas last week which I know was nothing I could have helped. I was checked in by 1330 for a 1400 appointment. It was almost 1800 when they finished loading me. It's not a lot of detention but I don't even bother unless it's over an hour.

I dont mean to make this personal with Matt, but of the few detention requests I've made since working here, none have gone unapproved and ignored from any of the other dispatchers.

Where is this list? The only fuel guideline I've known about was don't buy fuel if fueling at a terminal is an option.

The detention request should be issued by the shipping dispatcher and never be afraid to remind them in you don't get a response. They sometimes need a gentle reminder...

It's normally on the top section of the statement with tax added. Not knowing what you paid for, can't help further.

Just means they were busy. Write everything down, check your statement later when it comes, then peoplenet relevant dispatcher and Chad if it isn't there.

Little pamphlet w/ map. They may have forgotten to get you one. Ask Safety.

Should be in the Magnum folder they gave you at orientation. Its regular paper folded in half into a pamphlet.

I will go through it again, but I'm pretty certain I have no such pamphlet.

If its something they give with fuel cards, that may explain it for me. Bryce had left early the day I was supposed to get mine. Mark had to tape it to the door so I could get it after hours on my way back through Fargo from picking my first load in Grand forks.

I pretty much ignore that thing, but I do make a point to try and fill up in the green states. WA, OR and ID are on the "Avoid" list, but if you're running out there, you're gonna need to fill up in one of them most times. I usually top off in Missoula and am pretty desperately in need by the time I get to Boise or so.
