For size and ergonomics, the 579 is like the Taj Majal compared to the short-sleeper KW I used to drive.
16" between driver and passenger seats so even a skinny guy like me had trouble getting back to the sleeper. "Cabinets" all at an angle so you basically couldn't use most of the space there was, no fridge and no where to put one except at the foot of the bed, no pull-out tray, etc... Pretty much the most uncomfortable beast ever and storage? Gimme a break. If you used to be a Squid, maybe having that top bunk down is comfy. Personally, I hated it because it left about 14 inches between my nose and the bottom of the bunk. The navy wanted to put me on a Nuc boat. I thought about that for about 5 minutes and told 'em to go jump in the lake and joined the AF....and wound up spending three years in about as tight quarters on an old AB in Germany. I think small spaces are just my DESTINY -
Delivering in the AM in Fargo, then the truck is in the shop. Said to Heck with it and am splurging on a motel Wed and Thurs night. Load early Fri AM for a NC run, 1640 miles on a fresh book. Made about 3800 miles over 7 days. (8 if you count the 1 hour driving to Fargo in the AM) Pretty happy about that.

I was supposed to be getting back in the truck tomorrow, but they would rather I pick up in Plymouth on Thursday going to Eagan, MN, hopefully dropping in Coon Rapids. It didn't take much arm twisting for me to accept an extra day of hometime.
On the subject of 579 storage. It's not great and I wish it was better; but on the bright side it prevents me from filling my truck with unused crap. I went by the truck just today and took out a few items that I haven't been using. No need to have them taking up space.
With limited space in the truck, I just purchased myself the smallest and least expensive k-cup coffee maker. $13.00 and I just use my microwave to heat the water.

Do I give the Cavendish Farms temp sheet to the receiver with my bills or keep it and scan/send it in with my paperwork?
