Coke in Columbus is quite a pleasant surprise
People are very nice even the yard jockey act like they are actually happy to work there. Got there a hour and 15 minutes late for my appointment. Given a door right away and loaded in less than a hour.
Planned out till Thursday night to get home.
Will get to CR tomorrow evening get a 34 in( I need it 3 hours left on 70 when I get there). Deliver in Rogers Monday reload in Plymouth going to Fargo to drop in yard. Then Head Over To Jamestown then Newnan GA for hometime. Daughter graduates from elementary school then off to my parents for their 50th anniversary. -
Coming through Chicago East bound was as expected. As for the West bound was a different story. Accident at the I 80 in Illinois, the back up was to I 65. What is that, about 10- 15 miles?

People want to hear the good and bad so I'm gonna vent a little. My dispatch to Coors in Golden, CO had the wrong address. So I call the contact number listed to find out where I need to be and it's a wrong number!
This plant isn't a traditional facility. There is no front gate, it's like a small town in itself with streets going here and there. I flagged down a yard jockey who pointed me in the right direction about a 1/2 mile from where I was.
I found the right place. Dropped my empty in their empty yard. Went to their loaded yard and found my trailer.... it's empty!!!
I call after hours dispatch and leave a message. Nick texts me back there is nothing he can do, call him in the am.
Billing window on the loaded yard doesn't know what's going on. I'm directed across the road to where live loads are done to see if I can get the load. They discover the trailer wasn't loaded because they are still waiting on 4 pallets of product. Check back in the morning..,.
So here I sit until tomorrow morning. I have 4 hours left on my 70 until tomorrow's recaps. I should have been starting a 34 a hundred miles up the road tonight. Who knows, I may be doing a 34 right here.
I don't even like Coors..... -
