Magnum ltd - fargo, nd

Made my delivery yesterday morning in Hanover Park IL and my pick up in Broadview IL. I then drove up to Fridley MN. Dispatch said I could drop it at its destination. I called and their receiving said I could drop it as long as it's less than 12 hrs before delivery appt. so I made it up there about 22:30. The guy on night shift talked to me like I was a child and said I had a live unload. I was respectful and professional... But he sure wasn't. So I stayed in the street outside the gate waiting for my 6am appt. At 545 I went back into the receiving office. Different guy tells me I don't have a 0600 appt. I assured him I did... Then he finds it. Says that it's gonna be a long wait, why don't I just go ahead and drop and hook. Hahahahahahaha... Can't make this #### up sometimes...
So I dropped it, grabbed an empty....
I have a drop and hook out in Gaylord this morning with 2 stops in south Jersey...
Pretty good first week back out....Bout 2900 miles....

 

Man I'm hoping to get something as nice NC, coming off of Hometime and will only do 1450 this week. Got to love some of the people we deal with...LOL

 

Quite on here. Hope it is because everyone is running hard.

 

I try not to complain much, but I'm seriously starting to get pissed about getting nagged about my trailer tail. I forgot to open the #### things on my first load and got narced out before I made it across the Minnesota line. I've had the #### things open every time since and I'm still getting messages about it. I'm not one to job hop, but if they don't shut the hell up about it I might have to rethink my decision to work here.

 

Sitting in Coon Rapids doing laundry. I dropped just down the road earlier, and reload Monday going to Fargo. Then reloading in Grand forks, going to Statesville, Nc to get me home next weekend for my hometime. I have had two layover days in the last 3 days, but I know part of it is that there trying to make sure I get home for my scheduled, and they paid me for both days. Been running fairly good, so no real complaints.

 

Where do most of your runs seem to be?

 

Broker load today though at least I am running. Loaded in Vincinnes Indiana and heading to WI with a load of watermelons - took 7 hrs to get me loaded though!

Dropping off Monday and then heading to Green Bay and up to Eagan. I appreciate dispatch finding me something for the weekend though...

 

Lately I have a pretty good mix of loads. Some weeks it seems all I do is run from Mn. and Nd. To Nc. and back. But lately I have been to Nj., Pa., and Tx.

 

Reloaded Friday in Newport news VA with 4 stops on deliveries. 2 in western WI one by duluth then final out in fargo

 

Thats the frozen fish load right? I like that one.
