Magnum performs assessment's of driver performance 3X a year. It all depends on when you start, but productive runners tend to go scale - meaning your credited for your absence during the trimester.

 

BTW - Does anyone else harbor disdain for single ply toilet paper?

 

I started in the middle of July so when can I expect to go on the performance pay scale

so just do your best job from day one and you wont have to worry what day the performance pay kicks in

or I guess if you know it doesn't start until 8/28 you could just be a steering wheel holder until 8/27 I mean the company isn't doing anything for you until then

 

Dropped in Fargo this afternoon, sitting at the J in Grand Forks. Loading at Philadelphia Mac. in the a m going to Maxton,Nc for a Friday evening delivery.

 

One of those days...went to my receiver this morning in WI and was told the load was actually for Hopkins MN. Got there and was told to come back tomorrow at 5am.

Fortunately I could park at the receiver and my next pickup is only 15 miles away, heading to NJ - it will be nice to have a long run to the east coast in the daylight!

 

Winnyf1, I had the opposite. Got to receiver in Fort Worth last night a 16:00 for a 3:00 next morning, they knocked on the door 10 min after I parked, 1/2 hour later out of the door, up to Tulsa for trip home for home time, called at 10:00 to see if I could load early instead at 16:00, they said come on in. Down side, do not like the streets in Tulsa, to narrow and truning is a #####.

 

I got unloaded in Swedesboro NJ this morning... 2 stops... Then reloaded in South Plainfield NJ... Pulled out at 5pm and figured I could make Cleveland Oh if everything went exactly right. I had already told dispatch that it wasn't likely....
But here I sit in Cleveland OH, got here at 00:45... Ready to deliver in the AM!!!

 

COL, woke up at 4am to drop this load, driven up to the window only to learn that a truck has dropped his trailer and shut down receiving...sometimes you just can't win...

 

Nice, hope to be heading to NJ myself

 

At least it wasn't your trailer blocking things up!!
Have fun going to NJ!!! Those PA hills are something else.... The whole State is up a hill down a hill.....
