I would have woke up earlier in the day instead of sleeping till 3pm so I could sleep that night...if I'm gonna be tired, I will be tired hanging around a Truckstop instead of driving... Especially if I already knew I had an early reload like you do.
But that's one of the challenges of trucking and reefer work....

    Winnyf1 Thanks this.

Sitting in Eagan at the reciever now for a 1900 appt tonight 13 hrs early. Didn't think I could make it from plymouth in 2 driving shifts but I did with 15 minutes to spare. A tad over 1300 miles in 36 hours I have turned into a vampire now and the sun is starting to come up going to get in my box now and sleep.

I'm planning to be in Ruff Raleigh on Friday for a few days of hometime when a philly mac load gets to the CR yard for me to take to Maxton.

In the mean time, I'm getting 2 steers and an alignment this morning.

If you mean the dull non-polished wheel the coon rapids shop put on there, it was for a drive tire. When I mentioned it to Randy recently, I was basically told when they replace the drives later this fall, they will try to replace it with a polished wheel to match the rest of them. The wheel in the pic looks dull because the truck desperately needs a bath.

Finally home... 4 hrs of detention in the bank from Food Lion this morning.
I'll have to say, the office has been on top of the detention lately. I got the confirmation of it while the Food Lion DC was still in the mirror!

Feels good to sit on the couch!

    Beach this weekend.....

    See ya next week!

WalterSobchak and 4mer trucker Thank this.
