I would have woke up earlier in the day instead of sleeping till 3pm so I could sleep that night...if I'm gonna be tired, I will be tired hanging around a Truckstop instead of driving... Especially if I already knew I had an early reload like you do.
But that's one of the challenges of trucking and reefer work....

Sitting in Eagan at the reciever now for a 1900 appt tonight 13 hrs early. Didn't think I could make it from plymouth in 2 driving shifts but I did with 15 minutes to spare. A tad over 1300 miles in 36 hours I have turned into a vampire now and the sun is starting to come up going to get in my box now and sleep.

Checked in at rcv after a nap put me right in a door unloaded in 30 minutess.
Left at 1200 and had 1900 appt not bad
Lady at at receiving window is now recognising me and called me by my name. -

Finally home... 4 hrs of detention in the bank from Food Lion this morning.
I'll have to say, the office has been on top of the detention lately. I got the confirmation of it while the Food Lion DC was still in the mirror!
Feels good to sit on the couch!
