Well boys i dont know if i just missed it or didnt look close enuf but i had the crap scared outta a poor lady running next to me..
On my cascadia i had a ss wilson like ant mount with my 7ft skip shooter on it..To keep my skip shooter from swaying to much i had 5 ft of pvc pipe over it....
Friggin ant mount itself broke and it all went flying..
Noise rattled me for a sec till i realized what happened...
Anyways boys n gals, its always a good time to go over stuff on your down time...
Maintaince is everything, shoulda known something was up cause i lost alot of range.. 20170909_165007.jpg

Sounds like with that pvc pipe, caused too much wind load for that mount...Have you checked Breedloves mounts? Bet he has something that's a little beefier-built that could handle more wind load...If he don't have anything like what you need...He also builds custom brackets.

    Blaskowitz Thanks this.

well Craig a few months back, maybe even a year back someone was on here who made them or something like that and I said then and will repeat it again - you guys see the serious flaw with this mount?

Ridge..It wasnt what mounts to the truck part...It was the part that antenna stud mounts on that broke..See where my finger is,thats where it broke.. 1504998034489-798945540.jpg
