Maintenance files

    In short, my maintenance file is a chronological log of repairs with scanned receipts.
    The receipts (repair shop invoices) have some narrative included or at least parts and labor description. I don't not know what I would need anything else for...

    To maintain the so called maintenance file - separately from the above - is redundant imo. Unless we talk about a new entrant audit, in which case, yes, by all means, show a nicely bound file with with nice eye-catching colors. Better make a good impression there. LOL

    That’s the origin of my question. It was actually a Safety audit, 4 yrs after I started. The Lady gave Me some ancient blank schedules as examples, though I had receipts and a list of everything in separate files on Truck and Trailer.! I’ve been doing it their way for 12+ yrs now. I’m sure there’s a much better modern way that’s acceptable. First time they bring something to your attention it’s a warning, second time it’s a big fine. I imagine that’s why every Company has different things they’re very focused on.
