Crazy. I was guessing the turn by the cement plant. Always so icy in there. Gets little sun in the winter.

I'm gonna say retardation played a factor.

Still not snowing in Phoenix. 64 today.

A lot of wind today, and a lot of stupid going on. I’ve got 17k in the box and have been dealing with heavy crosswinds all day.

It's been snowing/sleeting/raining on me all day while making deliveries from Spokane down to Pasco and up near Yakima.

Have to go up 97 to Wenatchee in the morning.
    I'll check it first.
If it's greasy, I'll just go to George and slink in the back way while it clears up.
Maybe I can get down 97 later and over to Kent without having to throw iron.
    System seems to be swirling.

    I'M SKEERT.

Climbing north out of the Columbia gorge on 97, before you get to Goldendale, that viewpoint stop, where you can see several of the mountains, is worth it on a clear day.

The town of Hood River, at mm 62 and thereabouts, is where you always see folks wind surfing on the Columbia River. It can be windy even on a calm day there. Lotsa wind in the gorge for sure. The bridge that crosses the Columbia at mm 64, it's a real narrow 2 laner with a steel roadway, will pucker your butt in the wind.

    JReding and otterinthewater Thank this.

I’m parking at the Love’s in Boardman on I 84 right now, I’ll be taking off again in the morning heading towards Portland. Haven’t checked the forecast yet, I’m guessing there won’t be any issues, temperature is hovering about 35°.
