    117 hours on the books was my record......

    Last few years I just laugh and say no.... work legit hours like the rest of the year.

    screw the exemption....... you just sit in line waiting to load anyways

    The only reason I'd be inclined to consider running on the exemption is if I had a sleeper, and that's only because I'm paid by the hour, so the horror stories of other drivers in my company of years past when lines to a certain propane rack that could only load 2 trucks at a time was 30-40 truck deep would be quite a payday. But I don't have a sleeper, so I'll continue to run on the 70.
