I've been on Choice for almost 3 years. 2.75 years of that was with a Lease truck through SFI. The last 3 months have been with the lease truck that I purchased from SFI...
Yes, Choice has changed in that 3 years. It is much harder to string loads together, rates have fallen, and pick-up and drop off times have gone crazy...
However, I have made a profit every month I've been on Choice. I take a lot of time off, I mean a lot. And I still enjoy doing this most days. Where else can I work the hours I work and make the money I make living where I live? No where, or else I would be there, trust me.
All that being said, I work harder now to make the same money I made 3 years ago, due to what I stated above...
And I would not recommend coming onto Choice with a Lease truck through SFI right now. Unless you truly have your shizit together and are willing to work your ### off...
So Happy Holidays to all...
Enjoy... And always...
Roll on..

I watched the video. I believe the topic was how hard it is to make money with the fleece system your in.
If you don't think it's because the company siphon's every penny they can off of you, you are only fooling yourself, that is the root of it.
Have you ever wondered why if you buy a new truck through their financial department you can get right on, but if you bring a truck in that you own its a 6 or 9 month wait? Cause the start making money instantly just from the truck purchase.
It's business.
You guys all had to have some clue what you were getting into, and you saw that shiny ( OVERPRICED ) truck, and signed the paper.
It's your truck, but you can't even talk on the phone while you drive.
Good luck fella's.
I got you guys this to go with your pity party.

So that explains why my truck payment if figured monthly, on a brand new truck, is less through SFI than if I had bought it at a dealer. And why the price was the same as similarly spec'd trucks at the dealership.
And why a friend of mine who brought his own truck had to wait 2 months for orientation, same as I did.
Oh and why we have the same ICOA with SNI. That includes the no phone while driving that SNI enforces on every driver under their operating authority.
And why we are not required to use any of SNI's insurance, plates, fuel card, or anything else that any operator is required by law to have.
And why the contract with SFI is similar to any other Trac Lease.
And why there is no requirement to even run an SFI truck with SNI.
And why the guy in the video was talking about the choice program, instead of SFI's lease program.
Man thanks for clearing that up!sealevel and driverdriver Thank this. -

What gets me is if those of y'all who are so against the L/P from SFI or any other company why can't y'all just bypass the threads that talk about these leases purchase companies nobody makes you read or respond.
Guess some just can't pass up an opportunity to critique others.TDFair, 91B20H8, Knucklehead and 4 others Thank this. -
RStewart and PoleCrusher Thank this.

Oh wait all of it lol -
Opus:
- has been in the hole only twice ===> This means 42 WEEKS of positive NET (a good thing)
- will NET $800 this week ====> This means bills already paid, and money in the bank
- will enjoy 7 straight days OFF ====> This means HOME TIME without "repercussions"
Anyone reading Opus post either needs more reading comprehension, or I must not know what Im talking about.
If I dont know, then please correct me.gimacen, 91B20H8 and SingingWolf Thank this.
