Now everybody is gonna trade in their trucks for a Prius, flood the market and steal your passenger loads. ;)

I believe him. That’s not but about 30 bucks an hour as a 1099 with all the cost. It’s believable.
3 delivers per hour would easily make that.

That’s a healthy discount. 4.08 is the cheapest I can get at workman’s.

    2k a month truck payment?
    800 a month trailer?
Yeah, that doesn't go away when you are delivering half cold food for Postmates ...

Also 6k gross.... Who picks your loads, Helen Keller?
    I'm grossing 8-10k a week.
    I have an 8mpg areo pete. $1800 a week
    -20 percent for lease on
    350 truck payment
    500 maintenance
    100 insurance
3400 on a bad week, 6000 on a good week.
I could gross 12k if I didn't live in Florida.
Comes down to you picking bad loads, or you don't know lanes. I could run power only and make more than what you are saying you made.

I need to be certain the food delivery broker isn’t making too much before I can be happy for you.
To the op, do what works for you even when others don’t agree. What you are doing may not work for me, but I am not going to tell you that you can’t be successful doing it. Some people you can’t convince the sun is coming up in the morning, especially those living in a cave because they assume the whole world lives exactly like they do.

I don’t know, I gave Lyft an honest shot when I was light duty and not working. I ran hard the whole day, didn’t refuse rides and after expenses and fuel I made like negative 30 bucks….guess that’s why I’m a dumb local driver.

nredfor88, Opus, Concorde and 2 others Thank this.
