Sooo there I've been upgraded from "video game playing" to "dispatcher" once I mentioned some evidence.

I suppose now would be a good time to mention I've also posted shop receipts on here from my truck.

Does that now promote me to the accounting department and posting other drivers receipts?
Might as well beat you to it

I've got any evidence you want but you'll just make up fantasy land excuse for anything with your troll agenda. Like now I'm a "Dispatcher". :biggrin_25523:

I expect that is the experience most small business has: most are somewhere in the middle of highs and lows; some are at the top and some at the bottom just dragging out their demise.

could be a trucker, own a diner, a small engine repair shop, run food or pedestrians for one of those outfits.
My kids have done that grubhub stuff and the one where they go grocery shopping for people. I did the math, seemed only to be profitable bc they weren’t paying the insurance on their vehicle and weren’t valuing all the time they put into it. Might be my geographic area/their lack of ambition or understanding of supply and demand in that market. They didn’t stick with it more than a few months.

I tried to run a triangle when I did it. I may have a broker call.me with two large pepperoni pizzas going across town for $1 mile on ten miles. Then, I would swing by a Kroger or Food Lion (best fuel surcharges in the area) and deliver groceries to somewhere near the airport.

I'd get the broker asking me about a rideshare backhaul and try to lowball me on a return to my zipcode. I wouldn't even crank my Accord for less than $3 a mile on passenger rides, minimum 2 miles. @blairandgretchen tipped well on an Outback Steakhouse delivery.
