Hi guys been doing research on here for the past few years and most likely making the jump this late winter/early spring since I turn 23 in mid april. I have made a pretty good list of prospective companies as follows
    schnider,wayne,PGT
    Kane,roehl
    TMC, maverick
and a few others that I would prefer not to list as if they would take me they are much smaller companies or will be future small companies going forward. I do have my cdl except for my airbrakes thru the company I work for(landscaping)hence no airbrakes but do have my D/T hazmat, tanker, TWIC card health card and soon to be passport since 09. I have no tickets, criminal history dont drink smoke drugs at all and 6'2 185 and in pretty good shape, 1 not at fault accident when I was rear ended at a stoplight. Now as far as job history is concerned I have a few questions. I have worked at my present job since 4/19/09 with a seasonal layoff come winter with oncall snow removal. I did look into 1 company this past spring and walked out of orientation after being lied to by the manager in the interview. Needless to say the company I had been working for I went back to. I never took pay from the other company and never missed a day at protec. Would I even need to list that company. Before that I did have a landscape job lined up but could not be super flexable with the plowing so that really only lasted a month. between working at home depot for a year feb08-march09 and working another fulltime seasonal job april 08-july08.
Now with schooling going on during that time between finishing HS early and going to college for fall08-spring09

    So the timeline
    HS04-08
    College:
    hennipen tech fall 08
    DCTC spring 09

    Work history:
    job 1 04/08-07/08 Seasonal help
    Job2 02/08-03/09 HD
    job 3 03-09-03/09 landscaping
Job4 04/09-current w/ seasonal unemployment with snow removal

I do have a few CDL schools to look at
    Dakota county tech
    Interstate truck driving school
    Heavy metal truck driving school

SO IN OTHER WORDS DO I HAVE A CHANCE IN HECK OF GETTING MY FOOT IN THE DOOR ANYWHERE.
I still need to talk to the current company I work for if they would be willing to overlook this past spring and say I worked for them the past 2.5 years

Thanks for reading my ramblings any responces are great.Any please dont sugar coat it. I can take it without the lube*might as well get use to it:biggrin_25523:
