Wonder if we've reached the point where driver can call in say he put the truck through not 1 but 2 houses and dispatch doesn't think "you're having me on, what really is the purpose of this call?"
Another Canadian driver, ducnut and Magoo1968 Thank this. -
Sadly total logistics is quoted in article saying it’s our trailer but a outside carrier . These big companies sub out so cheap it’s only fly by night outfits pulling their stuff . They should have some responsibility when it’s always the same trailers off-road or in head ons .
Another Canadian driver, Phantom Trucker and gokiddogo Thank this. -
I had a decent, albeit short lived run with transx from terminal to terminal once, (on my trailer) at the time it was a bit above market, same run every other week, tried to strike a deal like I usually do where, you keep the money the same, (unless fuel changes significantly) and I'll keep doing the job for you. Cool.
I did 3 loads before I got some excuse why we can only pay 80% of what we did last week. Okay go for it. Don't think I've moved anything for them since.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
