This happened to a friend of mine after we came back from Desert Storm. He stood in front of a semi on I-69. I still have all the police reports. It knocked him out of his shoes and sent him several hundred feet the first time. He hit the pavement 2 more times before he came to his final resting spot. Another semi passing him thought he had hit a deer. The driver said he saluted him right before impact, I figured that or maybe he shielded his eyes from the headlights right before impact. To this day I often wonder why. He was stone sober when he done it.

That's an extremely inconsiderate way of committing suicide! I feel sorry for those truck drivers!

I feel for those drivers. I knew of a driver who had someone jump from a bridge in front of him. He quit right there and never drove trucks again.
