Am I just old and missing something?

I read the whole article. and can only come to the conclusion of ..... so what?

This part really has me baffled, the woman that invoked legal proceeding said "‘Many mothers have told him he needs to stop, but nothing helps. So going to court is the only option I have to protect my child.’"

Can someone explain how this dudes future tadpoles are a threat to that woman's child spawned by him?
