Paying attention to what you're doing is always a good idea.

Prosecutors will never try a case, that involves this type of situation...Can you imagine, 12 people convicting this guy?...I think not....case closed.

I'm glad to hear that! :yes2557: I was on the drivers side; but you never know what will happen once the law gets involved.

Thanks for the followup posts on this Cybergal!

Many trucks from the same mfgr. are keyed alike. Keep this in mind when "securing" your valuables by locking the tractor.

Sorry Treadloss I cant help but chuckle at this.....Carelessness gets people KILLED on a daily basis...I mean...LOL I know somewhere....SOMEWHERE on your truck even required by LAW has YOUR truck number on it....It would probably be wise to take the whole 2 seconds to look at it before you climb into the wrong truck and end up shot....this would not be the shooters fault for your carelessness..

There's no telling how many times I got the key a few inches away from the lock before realizing I was at the wrong truck. Especially since I try to park by another Roehl truck if possible--it's less paperwork if he hits me in the morning.

I look very carefully when I get into my husband's truck. That is my big fear is climbing into the wrong truck.

I once locked myself out of my '94 Thunderbird but easily opened the door with the key from the day cab L8000 I drove at work .
