    The difference between a 53 and a 48 is nothing compared to the difference between a 53 and a 12 foot utility trailer.

    You would think with 50 years experience you would know that...

    keep at it bro. when i first started i was frustrated and thought it was impossible. now i enjoy the challenge of backing and challenging myself to do it.

    My first taste of backing a trailer was a 35' gooseneck stock trailer behind a pickup at age 15 with very little driving experience, it was interesting for a while but you get used to how the truck and trailer react after a while. These days I can back almost anything, last time I backed a semi trailer was about 4 years ago, but I'm hoping that will come back to me when I get behind the wheel of a big rig again.
