Can't match a ride like that at ANY amusement park.

Glad the guy is ok and managed to stay in the chair. That had to be a very scary ride.

I'm glad nothing bad happened to both wheelie and truckie. I couldn't help giggling about this, though.

He probaly was not watching for the traffic on the sidewalk just the traffic on the street that he wanted to be on thank god that no one was injured.
The guy in the wheel chair probaly had to change his pants and pressure wash his wheelchair afterward.

Amazing! I would just like to hear a statement from the guy in the chair!!:biggrin_25524: Angels were with both driver and individual. Wonder how shaken the driver was. I'm sure he was absolutely stunned. God's grace is surely amazing!!!

It happened just down the street from where I live. Best guess locally is that the guy in the chair is developmentally disabled and crossed the street at the wrong time, just before the light changed, and too close to the truck for the driver to see him. Local prosecutor is reviewing the case, but no charges have been filed, and no tickets were issued.

Trucking company is a decent local outfit, about 70 trucks, and not some fly by night unsafe place to work.
