Man killed, 3 injured in crash on I-5 in south Sacramento

Isn't the left lane restricted, "no trucks" in that area?

 

He was texting or talking or just general purpose head in ###.

You can see the truck jerk before the first hit. That was the " Oh F " moment when he got his mind back on driving.

 

IMO he should have jerked the trk right to try to miss other innocent ppl, nooo he was a cowardly idiot & plowed into 9 other cars killing 3. I hope there will be a special place in hell 4 him!!

 

Going SB north and south of downtown, trucks are legal in the third lane, if that's where this occurred.

 

I believe that section of 4 lanes (before Florin Rd) has a posted sign for trucks to use 3 right lanes only.

 

I'm not sure where it ends but sometimes it's hard to get back over out of the ticket lane due to California @#$&$#@ passing you on the right doing 80.

 

It looks like the truck driver isn't letting up on the accelerator as he plows into car after car.

 

Right, was thinking the same thing. This isn't a distracted driver event, this is a medical emergency event
