Man suing Gwyneth Paltrow claiming he was 'recluse' shown as world traveler

I've been watching it. I actually believe her. On the day of the incident he wrote in an email he was "going to be famous"...and he decided to sue 3 years after the incident? My problem is with juries nowadays. They feel the need to set a precedence, that one day they or a family/friend might have a situation occur with a celebrity, or corporation, and if that day ever comes, they want to get paid. Nuclear verdicts aren't just for trucking. This guy originally wanted 3.1 million, judge lowered it to 300K. She is countersuing for $1 and legal fees. She's a might bit pretentious, but I happen to believe her side of the story on this one.

 

look, you're out on the slopes, and you crash into someone...it was not intentional, it was accidental.

you go bowling and you somehow get your ball into another lane and that person gets knocked down, it was accidental...

you participate in any sport, accidents happen, there is/was no malice

that doctor could not have been any good at what he did, and saw an opportunity to get rich, screw him.....

 

Too bad she didn't countersue for enough to make it hurt. Sick of all these people playing the system for a handout.

glad she never settled, as to me, that would have been unjust.

 

She got lawyer fees too…..

the guy was an experienced skier, he had a bad eye, nearly blind in fact, he had a camera, but like the "Nixon tapes", much of it was missing, she and her kids were far from him, i think that with the 1 good eye, he lost sight of them, and HE crashed into her.

no, i did not and do not watch any court tv, i got better things to do, like go to the club or range and shoot my guns, then clean them when i get home, and maybe reload some ammo..

then the usual home owners BS to take care of around the house...

i am glad she didn't pay him off to be rid of him, he made an arse outta himself, even up to the point his lawyer said so.....during the trial..????
