Manitoulin has to be one of the worst companies I have driven for. They have more rules than Dods has little liver pills. Once again drivers aren't allowed to use Cruise yet your expected to maintain 90kph on the pedal. If you go over by 10%, you receive a letter on your file (a few of those and your fired ). Touch the Cruise button and your fired. Equipment maintanence , there is none, If its not totally broke it they won't look at it. Logs,if you run over 13 hours they look the other way.
So why even have cruise control on the trucks if you can't use it? It is an option that costs money. Who the hell is Dods? And why do they have liver pills? Most companies have rules that they expect you to abide by. They are called company policies and are usually put forth in a straight forward manner in a booklet so that everyone will be on the same page. They are usually reinforced at the mandatory safety meetings. It is called life in the trucking industry.
So.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................now we have to ask the recruiters if the company allows us to use Cruise Control?!? The list jsut keeps getting longer, and longer. Can't use cruise control? I QUIT!!!
Hey you can't make this stuff up, sometimes I all most fall out of my seat. The gas petal is too hard to push down. There is always that trick with the broom handle.
