Can be purchased through the windows app store. $4.99 for the app. $9.99 for the americas.

might be worth looking in to for those fond of the no longer sold Streets & Trips.

Some poster claims to be using it with bluetooth gps output app on his android phone as a bluetooth transmitter.

I've been able to use my android with windows 7. Haven't had any luck using it on windows 10 yet.

The standard windows map works if all you want is your location. It uses your internet signal for location proximity. Won't work as a gps navigation.

I've purchased the maps pro so it's still downloading. $15 isn't going to kill me if it can't be used as gps also. But i'm up for trying something new.

maps pro has settings for gps. whereas the regular windows maps don't. i don't have a gps antannae to plug in to the usb port so i can't test that.

windows 10 seems to be lacking the ability for a consistent bluetooth connection with my phone so i can't test that. the two are paired but not making the actual connection. my laptop is the same.

left it to download over night, it was still downloading, but gives no indication as to what it's downloading or where it's at in the process. one wouldn't think it would take so long, and one would think that it's not downloading at all. i've tested the internet speed which comes in at 14Mbps but drops to .25 Mbps when maps is downloading.

very time consuming process to download the maps.
