And as long as the "Why are we here" door is open, someone explain to me why the 4 wheelers are out in that kind of weather?

Seems like drivers are counting on Wy. to tell them when they should shut down. I imagine companies that have torn up equipment will see these videos and see for themselves their drivers shouldn’t have been driving. Might be a lot of unemployed drivers in the near future.

Imagine trip planning to where you don’t have to haul balls to make your appointments. Imagine if the roads are bad you just call dispatch and tell them you just aren’t gonna make it.

Everyone is the captain of their own ship.

No one, not Jesus Christ nor the devil himself can force you to drive if conditions are unsafe.

I love the companies that preach that stuff right up until it starts potentially costing them money. Captain of the ship is terminology they probably bring up in court when they wash their hands of you. That doesn't mean they should have trucks sitting around not making profit. Lol

My company would rather reschedule a load, then reschedule a driver if you know what I mean.

Yeah but i mean dispatch can make all the threats they want. It’s too #### easy to get another job if you’re not a scrub.

Exactly no load is worth your life or anyone’s for that matter, I will call dispatch in a heartbeat

Same here. I've yet to have anyone question me for a weather delay, nor do I argue with anyone that requests one.
