First, you doing the name calling.

Secondly, you are not defending the police, you are throwing shade to anyone who questions police tactics in how they deal with their inherent power position. If you notice the pic I posted, there were white women being kicked too. But your innate hate / racist self is so obvious, that you automatically labelled @Chasingthesky as "black". That's why I told you to grab a tiki torch (forgot to remind you that Walmart may have white sheets too, if you need to hide your face)

Finally, just because you say it's so, does not make it so. We live in a society that promises "equal rights", but the system does not grant them equally.

In conclusion, the kneeling protest is not about the flag, per se, but rather the lack of justice equal justice delivery, by cops / justice dept et al, who manipulate the system, to ensure bad cops still walk free, after doing acts that should be punishable by law.

When that "manipulation" ends, then the true meaning of equal justice for all, shall prevail.

But I'm sure you will find an opposing argument to that too, since you are as smart as your Pink haired, Kim Jong, dear leader, who snowflakes at everything a black person does, even a silent, non-violent protest.

I blame Trump for calling NFL players an SOB a this rally in Huntsville. But since he started this he needs to listen to the players and understand why they're kneeling but he and Pence refuse to listen and understand. The owners are spose to have a meeting this week with the players and come up with some kind of resolution. I hope the players don't cave till they are heard.

That was a dog whistle for racists if there ever was one, to call black players silently protesteting SOBs while the white nationalists at Charlottesville were "some very fine people". And boy did it ever work.

Also pretty ironic that this whole debate is about black people and their owners and a field. Again.

There's another layer to this too. Back in the eighties, for those who don't know, Trump was a team owner in the budding United States Football League. He led their fight against the NFL when they sued the NFL, claiming a monopoly on prime time TV in the fall, as their season was in the spring. It was a bold move that would have put the new guys on equal footing and they actually won the suit. They were awarded $1 in damages however and the ensuing fallout more or less killed the USFL.

Trump has a somewhat famous line about when people attack you, punch back ten times harder. That's all his presidency has been. Just a string of punching back at people and things he doesn't like. He's that kid at the playground who takes his ball and goes home when he starts to lose, then buys the court and destroys it so you can't play anymore either.

Trump is a 71 year old toddler. All he does is punch back rather then fulfilling his promises sad too.Far as the kneeling thing you and I both know it has absolutely nothing to to with honoring the flag but everything to do with race and how blacks are treated especially when it comes to blacks and cops. That Charlottesville protest was something else.I won't get started on that.

So which stay do you want to ignore - the one where black motorists are pulled over at the same rate as white motorists yet are 3 times more likely to leave the traffic stop with a citation? Or when a black defendant is facing the same charged as a white the white defendant is more likely to receive probation or deferred action? Or the fact that several studies have shown that employers would rather hire a white man with a felony then a black man with a clean record? Or with the exception of the last 10 years that predominantly minority schools receive less state and federal funds per student?

From slavery to Jim Crow, to institutional racism we've created a situation or mistrust and inequality. To ignore the reality is to propagate it.

The masses are judged by the few on both sides of this issue. The average LEO isn't out acting a fool and neither is the average protestor.

We should all put our big boy/girl pants on and think a little more. The problems are not nearly the overblown scenario we're told.

My neighbor for over a decade was a LEO and man of color. He dislikes that term and prefers black man, but the term is now the socially acceptable vernacular.

Anyway, I've asked him about several of the shootings which became national issues. Some are justified and some are poor training in his eyes. I tend to take his 30 years of experience wearing a uniform and over 50 years of experience being a man of color over the media or keyboard commandos

Kinda sad all the hate for law enforcement officers. I know a few officers personally and they are no different than you or I. Yes I am white as a fricken ghost but that didn't stop me from almost getting shot/tased when I was pulled over from no reason one night simply because my pickup truck matched the description of a suspect's vehicle.

Treat them with respect, keep your hands in sight and no quick moves. Do I blame the officer for having his gun at the ready? Absolutely not. For all he knows, I'm the bad guy. He probably has a family waiting at home just like me. Now if I started acting like a buffoon like most of these morons you see on YouTube, I would have been tased or shot that night. Its not a race thing, its a grow the hell up and act like an adult thing.

What hate? Where? I, as well as some other people on here, probably aren't too fond of law enforcement but nobody is saying **** the police. We just want them to stop being racist and to be held accountable for their actions.

I didn't mean specifically in this thread, although there are a few references I spotted in the thread.

It's not always that easy. Officer Betty had no business being in a uniform and neither did the guy shooting the kid in Chicago. Both of those were gross negligence at best and racially influenced shootings at worst. I can't be in their heads to know for sure though.
