That's why I figured I'd let you watch this video and you can listen to the guy with the stock Cobra 29 talking to me from 20-30 miles away.
Just imagine if that guy was running some serious power he'd be hitting me a lot harder.

 

I dont consider a Wilson 1000 magnet mount antenna positioned in center of roof a serious antenna problem, that is exactly what it is designed for and they ate regarded as probably the best mobile antenna excluding the 102" whip.

 

So once again we are back to the antenna and truck as the culprit has nothing to do with who tuned the radio.

If you had common sense you would understand that Cobra 29 out of the box are incapable of talking to each other from 30 miles away. And yet this guy with his Cobra 29 stock right out of the box had no problem talking to me from a distance similar to that. So if you truly understood how things worked you would understand that my receiver sensitivity is the reason I was able to hear the guy just fine and you would also understand the reason he was able to hear me just fine with his noisy receive was that I had to use lots of power to get into his receive. You've got a lot to learn but it sounds like you're well on your way to learning that you will never have receive like mine.
You had a good thing but you blew it you just didn't know what you had.
Listen carefully to the stock Cobra 29 having a two-way conversation with me at a distance of 20-30 miles..

You have no proof that his radio was stock could of just been blowing smoke, Im curious what good thing did I have that I lost? I have plenty of common sense because for one I have and never will give any of my money to harddrive and secondly I am not going to allow myself to get lured into one of your little arguments where there is no winner or foreseeable end, its bad enough you and bored( primarily you) turned this forum into your private Email server ( like Hillary Clinton) and carried on your stupid battle, that should of been handled on the phone, I am not going to be guilty of the same mindless behavior. So as I said in another post, you be happy with your tech, everyone else be happy with their chosen tech, but since the moderator(s) wont enforce the forum rules and put an end to the cheap advertising it would be nice if you would man up and let it rest for a while. Like I said before you have plenty to contribute to this forum based on your own extensive experience and trial and tribulations without always having to promote Mark Sherman, if someone asks about him or his work you are the one obviously to ask.

 

If you truly understood antennas, and you were looking for a high-powered solution to the problem you would have automatically known that this would work just fine on your truck (even if it has ground problems)
if you have a regular mirror bracket like a normal truck. So yes it does apply to your truck whether you realize it or not.

 

I totally understand that but i expected more from the tune up even with my not so great set up..

Doubt mark does installs and i know we are both to manly to be holdin hands so thats out..Im just goin only by your word and his...You made the claim he was the best an all so as i said,just goin by your claim..
Just so we are on the same page......Im not upset at anythin said here at all,i just wanna understand whats goin on and why...Maybe even learn a lil more as i go..
Some say i make excuse or stubborn....Yes i can be stubborn but im watchin pennys to and dont wanna be the trusting person shelling out $$ to do this and that just cause some name online says so..
I also dont have the options here in eastern canada to just pop out to the local cb shop and grab stuff and gettin stuff ordered is iffy with exchange rates,shipping issues and so on...I do now have kinek which helps but still takes me a week or two to get what i may order from the usa...
I also have a bigger issue that i am dealing with so im not always home for a cpl days with nothing to do..
