Yeap that is a nice simple no real frills radio..Thought i saw on an older version that the dogital stuff changes color..Is that an option for the n4?

I don't think it does. I read through the manual and didn't see anything about it.

 

Even so..green is not hard on the eyes at might but a bright color for sunny days woulda been a help..Either way NICE radio..

Don't use welding cable. Get you some O gauge fine stran wire. There are books written on the need for the wire to be fine stran to actually give you better results and more efficient power transmission down the line. I have a 2970N2 and used the O ga.
