Been dragging it around for a couple months now and finally got home long enough to install it. Hiding the power cable behind the dash was a pain.

One thing for sure, it walks and talks and kicks the cat. 2016-09-03 11.44.44.jpg

Niceeeè...Personally i hate a radio there..Blocks that right side corner and fender mirror for quick chks before you make a turn or lane change...
Im makeing a bracket today to mount just under the ctr storage directly above that area on a fl..Ill use the holes already there designed in the truck as mount points..
A benifit is that its outta line of sight when driveing, lotsa air swirling around for cooling and no direct sunlight on the case to cause heat..

I'm a pretty tall guy and I don't run with my seat in Peterbilt mode so I have no trouble seeing my west coast mirror.

I was going to put it in the overhead stock hole but that #### thing is way too long with the heat sink on the back. I'd have had to fabricate a new mount and some sort of cover for the hole. Not to mention the pain of getting power up there.I believe the dash would have to come out to get those A-pillar panels off. When the air is running, it stays nice and cool.

cb.jpg Nope..those uprights are only a pull off..all plastic push pin type..Me arse is close to the ground 5'8" so i like a lil air on the highway but nothing in the city..The bounce of the seat with air makes the throttle peddle to jerky..
Here is my idea(not my pic)but ill be useing those holes you see on either side of the radio in the pic as mount points with the bracket im makeing up..
