like I said sorry my plate is full in life had to have my niece arrested I was in Milford ct. when my mom died she came in her home took her purse full of credit cards stole her license ss card and cell phone stole the will and helped herself to anything she wanted... anything I say is just me venting I just did it the wrong way...I already know I'll die before you and most everybody on here. I just turned 54 my dad died at 56...I smoke way too much and get very very little sleep.comes with the territory being a otr driver . and being successful at it I totally give my life to it. and on top of everything else I hate stress and drama and that's all I've gotten since I came home after my mom's death.

 

those radios always sound excellent out there in dx land. funny thing to me in my life out on the road.three different times thru the year's out here I asked someone what radio they were talking on..I rarely ask that. 3 times it was the radio your showing and talking on.or they told me it was a galaxy 55 ?????? very strange. ok so maybe more than 3 times. hard to keep up with anything anymore....

 

If it lets me cut my coil in half then it will be doing its job. The whole point is to shorten the coil without making the antenna taller and make it more efficient

out and a maybe a tram fat cat on top. it's a key down antenna any way you look at it.......

 

Those holes are so you can hear the factory speaker if you mount the radio in the cubby hole. No reason thy wouldn't serve the purpose to mount the bracket. They don't work great for their intended purpose anyway, still find an external speaker offers an improvement.
