well I can't get the antenna I wanted I've got its baby brother.... I hate when my wheaties get peed on...... #### it man. I need therapy I really really do......... one thing about ole Walcott cb they have a lot of cool toys and parts but I don't think they have even one person working there who is not a ### wipe... it's like get a personality everyone of you....that's sad when you think about it......got some strap off them anyways I can always use more of that in this wonderful trk.I drive..........

 

I tend to forget your 955 has usb/lsb that's why your radio pulls more juice... sticking that power cord off a cigarette lighter plug would be a major boo boo.... the low power/juice guys can use them all day long

 

I don't think this 497 I've got can be run directly off the batteries from what I can tell...squeals feedback it sounds like total...but I can run the magnum s9 350 or the galaxy 98vhp all day long ??? I'll take input and opinions on this if anyone has one .....

 

Someone will buy it from ya....I got a tx star high drive 350 ill never use...Most dont wanna pay anything for it..It got freshened up some and its now a dust collector..Just like the midnight special 250 will as soon as mark gets back to me with my bill..

Curiosity what was the antenna?

 

I know right I got it to transmit and act right for the first time today....I put that short ground strap on it from the radio to the quallcom which is grounded and it will talk barefoot. flip the switch on the amp and it sounds like dodo...my amp is used to being pushed by 300 watts not 115 watts
