Last week one truck was 3 days-3 trips 1500 miles $4400, another one 4 days roundtrip 2100 miles $5500. The 3rd truck was taking a week off.
I still try sticking to my target revenue. It's exhausting to be honest, I talk to at least 50 brokers a day and it's just mentally draining.
It's just when you consider that having a driver in the truck costs $400 per day, it motivates you to keep grinding for better loads.
That $2500 leftover per week is really not much considering repairs, insurance, salary, licensing and all that stuff. You are left with $1500 profit at best and IMO its really bad money nowadays
