    Any Marten o/o on here?
    Seeing how stepdeck and flatbed work is in the dumps I was thinking about parking my step and getting hooked back up 2 a reffer again.And was thinking about going with Marten again.
    Its been about 4 yrs since I pulled for them so I was wondering what kind of miles o/o 's are getting over there and are they busy even in the economic situation the country is in?I figure reffer got to be better than steps...hell people got to eat.
    At least my truck is paid for and has a freash engine!

    I am leased to a competitor of Marten's right now. We haul the same types of frieght as Marten does. I will tell you that the miles are way down and declining weekly. Probably not as bad as flats/steps are, but down nonetheless. I went from averaging 3700 miles a week in October down to averaging 2800 a week now. There is no consistency right now either. One week you might get 3500 and the next you might only get 2200. Don't get me wrong, I am still making a good living doing what I do, but it is definitely not as good as it was just a few months ago.

    Yeah thats what marten was saying around 2500 miles a week right now.But im thinking it might be better then what im doing now.Just something to make a living tell things get better.My step deck will paid off in less than 2 years and is only costing me $680 a month.
