It won't hurt for you to give them a try, you can leave if its not working out. Been here two years. 2400 miles, E-log, perdiem pay. Crete has announced a new get home every week regional deal and they have a yard out in phoenix. Crete pays more, no per diem pay. And crete hauls dry vans with alot drop/hook. You may wan't to look into it.

only issue I see with this company is they are going to make all their new hires take a sleep study test as was announced on the Dave Nemo show.

question on e-log, your at the customers for delivery at 2am, you get there at 9pm he wakes you up you move the truck to the dock, now by doing this you broke your 10 hour rest time, or do you move the truck real slow like 5 miles per hour so its ok, i'm used to paper logs, thanks

you can move around under 15 mph and the E-log won't kick you out of the sleeper, as long as you don't drive more than a mile and a halif.

for now, only new hires out of the atlanta terminal will take the sleep study test and marten foots the bill. In a year or two the rest of the terminals will be doing it also.

Yes that's true. To me it's not fair to the driver and honestly an invasion of his/her privacy. There is many people out there that snore but don't have sleep amnia. And if the driver is found to snore he/she will fail the test.

Unless it's changed recently they would rather you just parked the truck than chain up. They carry chains to meet the requirements but that's all they really have them for.
