Marten requires testing but will pay for it and give you a c-pap machine at no charge. When you quit they get the machine back.

Same with me. I stopped breathing for 43 seconds out of every minute. Also, had 93 events an hour. With the mask on for only 3 hours during the study, I awoke feeling better than I can ever remember. The machine has saved my life, no question.

No they're not. An in-house sleep study is about 800 bucks. Mine was 750.00

I just popped in this forum and saw this thread and had to laugh. The reason I came into the marten forum is to see if anyone posted about this very subject. Marten pulled this BS with me back in 2013. They measured my neck at 18" (It's 16") and said my weight was 275 (I'm 6'). I was just weighed the day earlier at my family doctor and was 255. They make me do that joke of an apnea test. Sometime during the night the blood ox meter on my finger came off. Even with this they diagnosed me with apnea and made me use the machine from hades. After 4 months I finally quit. I couldn't take it anymore. I was having night terrors. I would wake up pouring sweat tearing the mask off because I felt like I was suffocating. I slept horribly and no one I told at marten cared. I wound up getting a real sleep study done, paid for by my insurance, and they confirmed I did NOT have sleep apnea. Their stupid machine was actually putting me at risk by leaving me fatigued as I could not get a good night sleep when I used it.

Sad thing is I really enjoyed working for marten. I had a great driver manager, excellent route and was making good money doing canada runs. And I was home every other friday like clockwork. I I could go back since I have my real sleep study results but after what they put me through I refuse.
