I saw them starting to put up some of the signs yesterday and couldn’t figure out what the deal was…
We’ve had a few oversize/overweight loads routed over their detour and most of the over width stuff gets routed that way because of the lane limitations on the bridge.

Before we got dumb and decided to run through Connecticut instead of taking the NY Thru-way to the Pike.... well, that was the route for us. It's nothing on 5 axles but it can be a little bit of a PITA on 7/8 axles, specifically the left turn from US-20 to 202 in Westfield, especially when they were doing construction on the railroad overpass and had a concrete barrier up. Nothing like putting a 12' wide into oncoming in Mass. They're fearless and dumb.
