Massachusetts RMV revokes hundreds of commercial driver’s licenses - 8/28/2024

For those who prefer to read and not get caught up in all the drama. The public cried for accountability after the NH deadly accident and now they got it.

Personally I don’t think someone should be driving a school bus if they have a legal issue from a oui/dui. I don’t care how old it is.

MA uses a oui law for those that don’t understand. Simply get caught with the keys in the ignition is a oui..

I have a huge problem with this part of the law because it presumes that having the keys in the ignition means that the person has intent to operate the vehicle/vessel when someone might simply want to sleep while running the A/C or heater.

As for the rest of it, MA should've sent notice to the affected drivers offering them the option of paying a fine or performing community service in lieu of having their licenses suspended or revoked.
