Don't ya just HATE that??--- getting empty early in the a.m., and then next p/u time is set for late afternoon or evening?? That drives me NUTS when that happens. Most of the time I can get the appointment times changed though. What really gets me is when I get empty and sit for 3-4 hours before even getting the next w/a. Doesn't happen alot- usually on Monday mornings when it does.

    Oh well....thats trucking I suppose.

I was just wondering what kind of miles you guys are getting now? Also, how often are you getting weekends at home and what time do you usually get in and leave to go back out? I just finished school and have it narrowed down to a couple companies and want to see what is the best fit! Thanks for all the help!

I have only gotten "hung-out" over the weekend twice since I started with Maverick at the beginning of the year. I am home Friday evenings nearly 90% of the time, occasionally home very early on Saturday morning, but not too often. Its almost like clock-work for me to be home Friday evening. I usually roll out on Sunday early evening for my Monday delivery- or very early on Monday morning if delivery is really close by. I like to start my Monday (and brand new week) off empty when my new 14 starts for the day.

DISCLAIMER: I am in a Dedicated Division, PLD, FYI.

2,740 miles last week...3 loads...I don't even carry tarps anymore so I'll quit rubbing it in after this "no tarps".

Wasco, OR to North Souix City, SD to Farragut, IA to North Souix City, SD to Veedersburg, IN...
