You're not the only one. Hubby also started out with 0, didn't even pick up a load til Tuesday (after spending ALL DAY MONDAY in the truck waiting for something), delivered it Thursday (800 mi), sat ALL DAY THURSDAY waiting, then finally got something going 400 miles that delivers Monday. Last week (Thanksgiving) wasn't any better. He delivered in Bristol Monday, sat ALL DAY waiting then finally came home around 5:00pm and said his fm will call him in the morning if he finds something. He never found anything.

I live there real close to Bristol...when I was in flat bed, the 2 most common places for me to load after coming home empty was Knoxville (GerdauAmeristeel...re-bar) or plywood from some place (forget the name) south of Rockwood, TN.

Its a very good area for glass hauling...not so much for anything else.

That easy maverick!!! I was stuck between the two. And when with maverick and never looked back. They will take care of you here and show you that they care. And how much they need you and want you here. Its a big family.I think you would enjoy it.and on top of that you can make some good money. I will tell you this that you wont be treated any better at any other company and thats the truth.. just ask these other drivers they will say the same thing.good luck in your choice tho both good companies........ by Thursday ill have 2600. Had alot better week this week.
