Three weeks does not seem long until you are living in a mid-roof with a stranger.and sometimes strange.man....lol

Hey everyone. Those that know I am looking at Maverick, PGT, and now TMC has come into the picture. If anyone has some insider information on and of the companies please help me out. I don't want to be the driver that hops from company to company.
I really do like the fact that Maverick has electric logging "but not a big deal for me", all the safety equipment inside of the tractor, and also when I have been talking to the recruiter she makes me feel like I am talking to an old friend "just getting a good vibe from her". That is important to me because I don't want to be just a number in the computer system for the company. Would like to be known by name and be respected after it is earned.
Once again any information would be greatly concidered.

I will say maverick has the best equipment. PGT not a bad outfit but they don't have apu on the trucks. TMC not my cup of tea I don't want a black truck that you are going to sweat in and they don't want you to idle.

Out of the three I would say maverick would be the best that's why work here. I used to work for PGT and like I said not a bad company to work for. But I would run away from TMC.

A trucking company is like a wife you have to find one that is willing to put up with you and you be willing to put up with them. I wish you the best in your choice.

Hey Sewerman, I really liked your reply to my question. I also really liked and apprectiate your feed back from when you were in orientation and with your trainer. But you should get out of the truck and go to recruiter because you just sold me on Maverick. Maverick of course was my first choice also. Now correct me if I am wrong but you are also in the glass division correct? Because that is where I got the ok to put in my application since I live just north of Detroit, MI. And since I have my enhanced license they (recruiter) liked that so I would be able to do alot of canada runs. But if it is cool with you I would like to exchange numbers/emails so you can help/guide me out. And hell who knows we will proly be in the same terminal some day.
I am getting excited about driving for Maverick the only thing I am worried about is the tarping. Since I am a shorter guy "5'4"

Im sure some of the guys over there are very happy. We are all just out here trying to make a living. I've meet so good guys at TMC and would help one out any time he needed it. But it's still fun to poke at them
