So, of the companies I applied to (I have no CDL and am looking forcompany training), Maverick is my prefferrance. I would preffer flatbeds for the excercise and less waiting to load/unload. There are numerous additional things I would preffer about Maverick.

This wasn't a problem last week, when only PAM had "pre-hired" me, since by all reports they thoroughly suck.

But now Schneider has "pre-hired" me and they have very few negatives that I have heard of. The only things I don't like about them are the low-speed trucks, idling policy, lots of driving in the south/SW.

Meanwhile, Maverick is taking friggin' ages to get back to me. I realise that this is because they do all their background checks upfront, but I KNOW my record is fine, and with the prospect of additional weeks or months to start training after I get approved... I am just wondering how long it is worth it to wait for one company over another when I can just suck it up for a year and pretty much go anywhere.

I guess that many of you are going to tell me how I ought to streach things out over six months of night school instead of wanting to do a company school next week if possible... Oh well, maybe I am just venting.

I graduated from there 14-day course this past friday. I already had my CDL and stuff like that my school was over a year ago. To sum it up i enjoyed the training and i figure out more and more each day there. I dont know to much about maverick but here nothing but good stuff about them also.
