Maverick recruiter say's I can do it. All infor I can get will be helpful please.

I just started with them 2 weeks ago and should be getting my first load tomorrow some time. I'm in the Glass Division. I have a thread in the Maverick section with details of my way through the entire orientation process and training. I will continue to post in it as I work for Maverick.

Don't let your size worry you. I'm 5'5" and do just fine with tarping and securment. It may be a little more work for me than somebody who's 6'+ but I can still do the job. I'm also not an overly strong person and I can still do a perfectly fine job of moving the tarps and equipment. It just means working a little smarter.

I agree you won't have any problems.

We all like to complain about tarping but really other then the time it chews up its not that bad.

When I worked for maverick there were a few lady flatbedders there. So you can do it. Also there are plenty of lady flatbedders out there. Go for it! Plus most of the freight maverick hauls is pretty basic so it shouldnt be a problem

 

If you like money and a little work go flatbed. If not pick a trailer with doors on the back.

 

I saw a Female Flatbedder at our yard in Gary on Thursday night. Seems that the reported sightings of Female Skateboarders are on the rise from all my fellow Mavericks. Not kidding.
