I went with Maverick 3 years ago and have been very satisfied. But I can tell you that each persons experience is different and whats good for some is not for others. Research and talk to as many people as you can and just make the best choice as you see it.
Maverick, TMC, McElroy, Boyd, or Melton

Thanks plentygood. I appreciate your response sir. Could I ask how many miles do Maverick Flatbed drivers get per week on average? thanks!

my ave is 3300, I usually run 3 weeks out then home for 3-4 days, plentygood likes Maverick, I haven't heard any bad news about them, but for a new driver, I think its best to go with a company thats not a Automatic tranny company, Just my opinion with what ever company you go with, good luckneedmoney Thanks this.

Thank you for the valuable information. I've applied to Melton and talked to a really nice recruiter. It all sounds good. It also helps that they have a terminal in Dallas. Appreciate your time on replying to a new driver's thread. I'll let you and others know who I end up going with. My choices so far are McElroy, Melton, Maverick, and Boyd Bros. I've applied to all of them, and they are just waiting for me to make a decision to attend their orientation. Take care sir.
