On my last week of driving school and I have pre-hires from maverick and boyd bros and one possibly on the way from tmc. Which one is a better company to drive for being a student because they're all offering good pay and hometime so they say.

I don't have any personal experience with any of them, but I hear you can't go wrong with Maverick. TMC, seems to be ok, but hear they can be more anal about the lil things. Boyd Bros, also seems to have a good reputation from what I hear. If it were me, I would give Maverick a good look as they seem to really have a good training system in place for securement/tarping.

Learning good flatbedding skills should be your #1 priority to start. Once you learn all the ins and outs of this work you will be ahead of the curve and can look for greener pastures. Don't put to much weight in the pay side until you learn these skills.

I started with TMC, they were always great to me. The training program is exceptional, a little long and tough...but when u get ur first solo load you will be completely confident.
