Just wondering what is a good max boost for a C-15?
I have a Cat C-15 (MXS)475 hp and I get 62 psi on a good day and 60 psi all the time.

That sounds to high. I am going to guess that your wastgate hose is plugged.
-
35 to 40 is plenty.
-
62 psi? Thats about what a 625hp cat makes. Med to upper 40's for a stock MXS 475 is normal.
-
My 5EK gets 30 psi max. I think it's not enough boost, Am I right or wrong ?
-
Nope not plugged....that is normal for this truck so I figured all good -
Really? guess I'll try to plug in to it tomorrow to see what the computer says -
My MXS stock 475 would only do MAYBE 55 on a hard pull. 45-50 was normal.
Not for an Acert.
Sounds normal for a 5EK-6NZ-MBN. A blocked off wastegate might raise it to 35-40 but you wouldn't see any benefit. -
I'm sure I'm stock...my truck is heavy even under bobtail conditions about 54,000 lbs so i'm kinda pulling all the time i guess
-
not on an acert mine puts out 70lbs, but i dont run it there. pdi flash. before flash 45 to 50 is normal on a acert.
