Dave’s OM is familiar with this cargo being she is running a covert animal smuggling operation under the disguise of being Dave’s office manager.
Dave has no idea. He is just another dumb Patsie Owner operator.

What do most vans typically weigh? I had repaired van trailer roofs and side panels back in the 90s but didn’t pay much attention to their frame structure
Seems like the roof and sides can’t weigh more than a couple thousand pounds.
Crazy that their just a Giant shoe box waiting to collapse if loaded in properly.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
What’s funny, is I fell for it. Lolrbrtwbstr Thanks this.

Roughly 14500, mines a paper spec, has extra crossmembers, it’s 14980. They have some new lightweights that are less than 13k, with super singles. And they haul heavy paper loads with them.Last edited: Jul 22, 2020

What does a good combination 53 flatbed weigh? 12-13000?
When I was working on them and felt how flimsy the side panels were that I was replacing it kinda shocked me.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I’m not sure, maybe 10 or 11k? I know they commonly load 50k. Seems to be the desired goal anyway.
