    Was curious if anybody knows when plugged in with an EST I’m reading negative On the turbo pressure Downstream. What is that? Is it like EGR flow there is no sensor it’s just a determined through ecm?

    truck complaint was power loss with light load or heavy load.no active codes. pulled IMP found it to be clogged with soot. replaced IMP and IMT. Also pulled EBP and blew out line will replace sensor. found broken boost line from intake manifold to boost control solenoid. debating on pulling the high pressure turbo compressor pipe off and checking the shaft play and wheel

    The turbos on the Maxxfarce 9 and 10 were prone to coking and have to be cleaned.
    there is a kit available and they don't have to be removed to clean them.
    enough oil can come through the crankcase filter to cause this. There is also an updated crankcase filter that vents to atmosphere instead of to the turbo inlet.
    If they are coked badly the charge air cooler may need to be cleaned as well.
