Is a HazMat endorsement, along with any other endorsements, needed to drive OTR?

No hazmat at needed, mostly reefer and some dry loads.

I almost went to May. Went to orientation and did the road test but what put me off were the egos of a few of the employees.

This was just my personal experience and will differ for others. One of the main guys who sits to observe your backing and driving around the lot just completely ignored me and looked at his phone (pretty much the entire time) when I asked a question. Didn't say anything nor felt personable. Vibe I got was "oh another driver who will only be here three months". Was that sort of attitude. The other folks were nice though. I guess I just didn't do it because I asked for non-smoker trainer and they tried pairing me up with a smoker. Not to mention no direct deposit. Sure they will be a great outfit for someone else but for me it didn't work out.

I myself am a non-smoker. I would have had some qualms about being with a smoker for an extended period of time.

As for no direct deposit, I would be somewhat leery of that also. Direct deposit is the safest way to collect a paycheck without running the risk of it being lost or stolen.

How do the truck drivers get paid? Is it by cash, check, or are the wages put onto either a credit card or com data card?

How much does it cost to "pull" money off of your com data card?
