How long has it been sense you have driven? They did you a favor, They used to be a really good company but they have turned into a training mill. The way they have things set up and the way they micromanage every thing I don't see how any experienced driver could be happy there. I'm sure there are some and more power to them. But I don't see how.

or... maybe it's just like they told you.... you've been out of a truck for too long. They won't hire a student either if they have been more than 2 months out of school without driving.

Has nothing to do with how long i have been out of a truck, has to do with the fact they have more students coming in then they have trucks. They can pay a newbie less then they would have to pay me. Last month one of the people i worked with at my last job got hired on by them and he has only one year prior experience and he has been out of work as long as i have, 22 months. Its all about the money.

if that were the case.. they wouldn't be hiring ANY experienced drivers. I know for a fact they are.. and you just said they did. so my thought is.. there is more to your story than you are letting on. Perhaps something else on your record.

It would be best to call recruiting and get that info directly
from the source and not "i think" from people who are guessing.
You can graduate from the best trucking school around and still not pass the driving test given, i believe at the very onset at May.
There was a thread from someone awhile back who had driving
experience and failed the drive test. Of course, it was NOT his
fault he failed............Call recruiting in Brooks and talk to them.
    Just my 2c's worth...........

Nothing on my record, MVR is clean, no felonies, no misdemeanors, last job i had i as there for 3 years. They do hire experinced, but as i said, if they only have room for say 8 drivers, and 12 people hire and atleast 8 of them are students, they will take the students over me cause they can pay them less. If you think they arnt all about the money, then yer wrong, that's why May is known as a training mill.
